Cartwright Food Hall

ABOUT CARTWRIGHT FOOD HALL

Cartwright exists to offer a space where community is embraced and diversity is achieved through one common ground: food. We are excited to be the first of our kind in downtown Greer, not only offering an above-typical selection of food but providing a cultural experience you are bound to remember. Cartwright Food Hall is an artisanal, lifestyle dining concept founded by a group of friends who have a passion for food, family, and community. We feature local eateries and restaurants all based in the Upstate of South Carolina. Cartwright brings to Greer the concept of cross-meal ordering, where different meals are enjoyed in a shared seating area because community matters to us.

WHY "CARTWRIGHT"?

In 1865, the main part of our building was home to a hardware store and in 1904 a carriage repair store was added. A cartwright is someone who makes and repairs carts and given the history behind our building, we thought the name was only fitting. Throughout our facility, you will see hidden pieces of what Trade St looked like during that time including our downstairs ceiling and original flooring found in our upstairs space.
